Dear Readers
In the 115th issue of MIR we publish some of the lectures which were presented during the 21st International Medical Esperanto-Congress, which was organized by Yumeiho-therapist Katarina Faragó. This congress took place from 17th to 18th July in the city of Hódmezővásárhely (Hungary). In the congress book, which was edited for the 21st IMEK, we published the abstracts of very interesting lectures, which mainly dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic because of SARS-CoV-2, according to the main topic of the congress, proposed by the president of the UMEA, Christoph Klawe: „COVID-19 pandemic: history, current status and consequences“.
Some members of the editorial board have already received one of the vaccines and may say from their own experience that the vaccine was well tolerated and severe, unpleasant side effects did not occur. The chief editors of MIR firmly believe that vaccination is the most effective way to send the pandemic.
All citizens of the world have difficulties because of the COVID-19 pandemic in their everyday lives, and so have all those, who in spite of different problems help as to edit our review. But our work by and by yields favorable results, as e.g. the so called Index Copernicus assigned to MIR IC=77.05 in the year 2018, but grew to IC=84.35 in 2019. At this occasion, the members of the editorial board of MIR want to thank all collaborators and ask for the further help to acquire an „Impact Factor“ one day. We also want to thank all our reviewers.
