General regulations

  1. International Medical Esperanto Congress (hereinafter “the Congress”) is a congress concerned a congress during which the following leading topics will be implemented: “THE NEW POSSIBILITIES OF DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF CIVILIZATIONAL DISEASES” 
    “MASAYUKI SAJONJI’S METHOD – HISTORY AND CURRENT STATE” and other one related to medicine/pharmacy
  2. The Congress is organized by an Organizing Committee composed of the UMEA, Jagiellonian University Medical College, University of Szeged, The Supreme Medical Council, The Regional Chamber of Physicians and Dentists – Małopolska district (Kraków), Regional Pharmaceutical Chamber in Kraków, Polish Pharmaceutical Society (the Kraków Branch), STOP Illegal Pharmaceuticals Association for Health Protection and the Rule of Law.
  3. The Congress will be organized on 13–17.07.2022 in hybrid form using 
    a videoconferencing system – Zoom.
  4. Official languages of the congress are English, Hungarian, Polish and Esperanto. It is possible to present the slides, for example in English, and to give the lecture in Hungarian.
  5. The maximum number of abstracts that can be submitted by one participant is two.
  6. The authors of the abstract can be a person with PhD or higher PhD candidate and student as well as clinician or other health professionals. 
  7. The young scientist is a student up to 25 years old.
  8. Abstracts qualified for the Congress are presented to the public using Zoom application, subject to the assessment of the Scientific Committee.
  9. Abstracts with posters will be shared with participants of the Congress electronically on the website of the Congress.
  10. Deadline for submitting the papers/abstracts is 25.06.2022.

Eligibility of work

  1. The abstract should not exceed the 1 page A4.
  2. To present a paper/poster at the Congress, it is mandatory to send an electronically completed application form and abstract in English or Esperanto until 25.06.2022 by the formula on the 22nd IMEK 2022 website:  https://interrev.com/imek2022/
  3. Abstracts submitted to the Congress are evaluated by the Scientific Committee. The Scientific Committee decision of accepting or rejecting the abstract is final.
  4. After the evaluation, the Scientific Committee qualifies the abstract to appropriate session and form of presentation – oral presentation or poster.
  5. The results of evaluation will be announced by the President of the Scientific Committee

Rules of presentation

  1. The authors present the work in the form of a poster or oral presentation.
  2. Planned sessions during the Congress are:
    A. Lectures by professors/assistants
    B. Lectures by young scientists
  1. Presentations will be held according to the schedule established by the Organizing Committee.
  2. The schedule will be shared with the participants minimum of 7 days before the date of the congress. 
  3. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make changes in the schedule. Participants will be informed about any changes when they occur.
  4. Time to deliver the work depends on the session’s type: 
    Lectures by professors/assistants: 15 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of discussion afterwards
    1. Lectures by young scientists
      1. Oral presentation: 10 minutes of presentation and 3 minutes of discussion afterwards
  5. Poster: 5 minutes of presentations and 3 minutes of discussion afterwards
  6. All participants of the sessions must adhere to the time limit of their presentation.
  7. Time of discussion after each presentation can be extended by the decision of the Scientific Committee.
  8. Presentations and posters in electronic form should be sent to umea@interia.pl at least 7 days before the Congress.
  9. Presentation and posters must be prepared according to the guidelines published on the Congress’s website.
  10. The limit of slides in the poster is one slide, in case of oral presentation – there is no limit of slides.
  11. Certificates will be sent after the Congress electronically.

Science competition

  1. The best oral presentation by young scientists and three participants who present the best poster will be awarded by the 22nd  IMEK Competition Committee
  2. The 22nd IMEK Competition Committee will be selected after evaluation of all sent abstracts.
  3. Decisions of the 22nd IMEK Competition Committee are final and indisputable.

Final statements

  1. Submitting abstract to the IMEK 2022 constitutes acceptance of the Rules and consent to the processing of personal data for organizational purposes by the Organizing Committee.

Fee

  1. The fee for participants are
    a. For young scientists 30 EUR 
    b. For other participants 60 EUR

  1. The fee is non–refundable.
  2. In order to get an invoice, the author is obliged to contact FARAGÓ KATALIN.
  3. The fee must be paid until 25.06.2022.
